A very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, to you all! Been a while, but while musing on the season I became inspired to once more take up the pen on behalf of RA2 and jot about one of my favorite units: the Kirov. Perhaps not as funny as many of my other songs, but I hope it serves my wit of words well.

Enjoy.

Up With the Kirovs
(To the tune of: Up on the House Top)

Up with the Kirovs
the sky is calm,
'till their bays opt to drop bombs.
Dropping right down,
with massive force,
All for the Allied troops,
with no remorse.

Ho, ho, ho!
You'd better go!
Ho, ho, ho!
You'd better go!
Away from the Kirovs,
quick, quick, quick,
Before, for its target,
you it picks.

First comes the rumble
of prop motors,
Oh, those buzzing,
loud rotors;
Then comes the warning
the siren cries
Troops go to the bunkers
and shut their eyes.

Ho, ho, ho!
You'd better go!
Ho, ho, ho!
You'd better go!
Away from the Kirovs,
quick, quick, quick,
Before, for its target,
you it picks.

Next comes the shrieking
of bombs in air,
On T.V.
Twould' look most fair,
Not in the bunkers,
where bombs burst bright,
Good men die
and limbs take flight.

Ho, ho, ho!
You'd better go!
Ho, ho, ho!
You'd better go!
Away from the Kirovs,
quick, quick, quick,
Before, for its target,
you it picks.

Again, Merry Christmas you bloody gits.
