A drop of rain fell softly on her face as her eyes fluttered open. She felt someone's hand on her but was unsure of who it could've been. A massive amount of pain was stemming from nearly every part of her body without any understanding as to why she was so afflicted.
"Don't move!" A voice rang through her confusion.
Obediently she froze, not like she had wanted to move in the first place, and looked to the person who had spoken the command. She had never seen him before in her life, she was sure, yet he seemed so familiar. His bright green eyes starred down at her through his mess of dark hair.
"You're alright; my friends have gone to get help. You'll be just fine. Are you hurt?" It was apparent he was attempting to sound reassuring, but why?
'What's happened to me?' She thought as she forced a soft, sweet smile through the pain.
"W-w-where am I?" she pushed the words out with great difficulty.
"Hogwarts, school of witch craft and wizardry." He spouted instantaneously; shocked that she could find the strength to speak.
"Thank you" she sighed meekly.
"Well you're welcome." He responded, even more shocked that she was minding her manners at a time like this.
"I-I won't forget you…" the words slid out of her mouth as herr beautiful golden brown eyes took a long deep look into his. Her hand squeezed his momentarily and then fell limp as her eyes fell shut.
"No!" He cried, Clutching at her hand.
"Stay with me, please! You can do this, I know you can! Come on, come on!" He said now gripping desperately at her shoulders.
She could hear his voice, but it seemed so distant and it was getting farther and farther away.
'Who was this man? And why was this almost certain stranger so concerned with my wellbeing? What had happened to me that has caused every part of me ache with an inordinate amount of pain? What is Hogwarts? What was the last thing I remember happening...'she thought.
Her mind was racing, but could come up with absolutely nothing. And her good Samaritans voice was a hardly audible whisper now. she could feel her ability to think crumble as the darkness of such uncertainty over took her and the shadows of her dreams swept her away from these burning questions, and the rest of the world.
