Merry X-Mas to all! This is a one shot couple story, my second fave couple: Karate Kid and Butterfly.

A young Imskan teen ran through the vast mall of Mars. Her blue eyes glittered as her earrings rang their tiny little bells, warning on coming shoppers.
"Butter! Butter! Butterfly!" an Asian boy, was a year older than her cried as he sped after her. Butterfly Elnia Digsby turned around to see the handsome boy catch up to her. His face was flush with sweat.
"Oh Val, for heavens sake, mate, you look like you ran a 1000km marathon non-stop," she giggled as she patted his head.
"With you it seems like 2000 km. Honest, Butterball, why did you choose this mall instead of the one on Earth?" Karate Kid asked.
"Well it's nice but there are a lot of stores and I want to see them all, I want to get gifts for my cousins and my friends… Oh what do you want for Christmas, Tea Cakes?" Butterfly stepped closer to him, making the boy blush.
"Uh… um… a... a… a watch and an um… new um…"
"I'm sure you find what you are looking for soon, Karate kid. We'll keep looking. I promise." Val noticed the sad smile on her face. The only thing that made her sad was the fact that her cousin, Shrinking Violet, had left the Legion with a broken heart and soul. He enveloped his girlfriend into his arms.
"Shh… don't cry, tea cakes," he whispered. Butterfly sighed as she nuzzled her head into his chest.
They walked through the halls, hand in hand as people they passed stared at them. Val pulled up Butterfly's jacket hood to hide her face. "T-t-t-t-thank you," she whispered, squeezing his hand. She wished that he would kiss her already.
Suddenly a familiar figure of a snow-white skinned girl with black hair and a violet highlight in her hair… no it couldn't be…
"Cousin Violet?" Butterfly called. The girl turned around and there standing was the girl with purple eyes.
"Cousin Butterfly! Karate Kid!"
Suddenly a green skinned boy flew through the crowd. Brainy greeted his friends. Butterfly envied her cousin. Vi got kissed on the lips so many times, and yet here her younger cousin hasn't gotten kissed even once.
"So you haven't kissed him yet?"
Butterfly explained to her cousin how she didn't want to ruin her relationship with Val. She'd rather wait for the right moment for her kiss. She hated how Brainy threw Vi's love away for his own. She began to wonder if Val thought of that… that she was imperfect and ugly. Did he?
Butterfly collapsed in her boyfriend's arms after singing a dozen songs for her fans. She looked up into his eyes and lost her train of thought. Here she was in his arms, close to his lips.
"You alright?" he asked. She nodded as she felt safe in his arms. She prayed that he wouldn't abandon her.
