Alas, I own nothing… if I did, do you really think that we'd have to wait until May for a new episode???

"Love of A Woman" is by Travis Tritt, and you shoild def. listen to it if you never have…

A young man slowly made his way up to the stage at Tric. He looked out into the audience and was able to see all his friends and his family. He knew that they were there for him as he sat down on the stool placed in front of the microhone.

"Ah," he said, "this song… I didn't write it, but I know that it's words are true. So, um, I guess this is dedicated to… my wife, and… um… my dad and of course my mom. I love you guys."

The crowd quieted as they watched Nathan Scott take a deep breath and close his eyes.

Nathan and Haley stood by the bar as they watched their nineteen year old son take the stage. At the dedication, the smiled to each other. Haley knew that Nathan was proud of their son. He had been blessed with both their talents, basketball and the ability to sing like no one else. His wife was truly one of a kind. They had waited until high school had ended and gotten married. But they were happy and that was all that mattered.

Nathan opened his eyes and started strumming on his guitar.

My baby knows me better than I do

Funny how a woman has that over a man

I can do anything with her here beside me

Leaning on her is where I make my stand

His wife smiled when she noticed the familiar song that he had sung to her many times before.

Where would we be without the love of a woman

Standing behind her man even when he's wrong

The true pure undying love of a woman

Makes a man a fool to think he can make it alone

Nathan smiled as he though about the next part of the song. "Dad," he said as he strummed the guitar, prolonging the music between the two verses. "Dad, this one's for you and mom!" The audience laughed as they heard the lyrics of the song.

My daddy was a wild one when he was younger

Everybody told my mama he'd be hard to tame

Full of himself he said 'sir' to nobody

But you oughta see him come a runnin' when mama calls his name

Amidst laughter, Nathan continued the cong.

Where would we be without the love of a woman

Standing behind her man even when he's wrong

The true pure undying love of a woman

Makes a man a fool to think he can make it alone

Haley laughed at Nathan's face. He was still so adorable to her. And his father's scowl did nothing but make her laughter turn into a deep belly laugh. She turned and kissed him as their son continued his song.

"All right, you all thought that was funny. Well, here's another one for Mom and Dad… oh, yeah and for Uncle Luke and Aunt Peyton, and Aunt Brooke and Uncle Mouth. This is for all of you…"

Oh, yeah...

A man goes crazy trying to catch his feelings

Too much pride or maybe the words come out wrong

But that's okay 'cause he's still her hero

Steady as a rock, her love keeps rolling along

Where would we be without the love of a woman

Standing behind her man even when he's wrong

The true pure undying love of a woman

Makes a man a fool to think he can make it alone

Makes a man a fool to think he can make it alone

"Baby, I love you…" Nathan said as he stepped off the stage to a thunderous applause.
