Intro:Twilight dancer
Her dull teal eyes gazed at the picture she held in her hands. Preserved forever was an image of a woman smiling as she held her two daughters. Cherry blossoms were falling around the three in the picture. A slight sting surfaced around the girl's eyes as she fought the tears. Moments later her emotions broke through the cold walls she forced around the strong and wild emotions. Anger, sadness, despair, pain, and longing forced their way to the surface as the girl broke down in slight tremors and allowed the tears fall like waterfalls. She looked up at the sky and pulled her arms around herself as she fell to her knees. She wanted the pain to leave and nothing to remain. She wished she could be held like she had been in the picture. Her eyes closed and she gave up, she let her screams of empty agony fill the air around as pain flowed out of her as she fell underneath the dark waters of her mind. Minutes that felt like hours passed and the girl finally pulled herself together. Her legs shook underneath her as she slowly stood up and walked forward. She wouldn't look back she would just go forward. She would force herself to move towards something besides the pain and memories she wished to forget.
Her vision swam and faded around her as she stumbled forward. Tears still rolled down her face and she could feel a sharp pain lace through her right leg. Her mind seemed to wander as she walked aimlessly into the night. The photograph was still held in her hand like a vice. She wouldn't let it go, that part she didn't want to forget. It seemed as if she was slowly being drained of her strength with each step she took. Nothing seemed to matter anymore only to move forward. More minutes passed until she could go no further. Her legs buckled underneath herself and she fell to the cold unforgiving ground. She shivered as water soaked into her clothing and chased the heat from her body. She didn't want to give up, she didn't want to let go of herself. With the last of her strength the girl turned onto her back and stared weakly up at the stars. She saw one star fall and soon more came, as if the heavens were crying for her. As if they could feel everything she did. With one hand pressing the photo to her chest she reached up with her other hand towards the sky.
"Mom" she whispered.
The last of her strength left her small fragile body as her arm fell to the ground softly and she closed her eyes. Moonlight shined down on the girl leaving a faint white aura around the girl. One last thought flowed through her mind as she slipped into the warm darkness.
'I'm so sorry mom. I'm sorry for causing you so much pain'
Footsteps echoed around the girl but she could no longer hear them as she reached toward a light in her mind. A cry of the girl's name filled the air, but she still did not hear the voice. A woman's cry echoed in the darkness as she lifted the girl into her arms and clutched her tightly. She tried to warm the girl but she continued to grow cold until there was no warmth within the girl's body. The woman's tears fell onto the girl's face and rolled down onto her neck and hair. One more chance for the girl was the only thing the woman wished for. She wanted one last chance to say goodbye and one last chance to see her daughter smile.
Unnoticed by the woman the stars continued to fall through the sky until dawn came.
