A/N: This has been floating in my brain for a very long time and finally I had to write it down or my head would explode. So excuse what might be the oddest and perhaps most unique way any crossover might happen.
Prologue: The Past Haunts
"We suffer because of our bonds… you don't know what it feels to lose them!"
"I said I'd break both your arms and legs if I had to…"
"What are you?"
"I'm your Friend"
"I let you live on a whim, now I'll kill you on a whim."
Harry awoke violently, his sweat covered form heaving for air as he tried to understand this most recent dream. It was one of many, and though they were dreams, Harry had an unnerving feeling that they where more than that. It felt like he was experiencing them through someone else's eyes.
"It's like I'm living this person's life in my dreams, but why?" Harry got up from his bed, and crossed the floor and out his bedroom door, heading for the bathroom. As he reached the bathroom door, a sudden burning sensation behind his stomach made its presence known. Harry, clutching his torso, raced into the bathroom fearing that he would soon empty his stomach. He failed to reach his destination as he collapsed to his knees next to the sink as the burning feeling turned into a raging inferno, and began to travel up his back.
Breathing in short pants, Harry laid on the tile floor as the pain continued to travel upwards. When it reached his neck, he let out a silent scream as he felt like he was being stabbed in the right side of base of his neck. As he clutched his neck and shoulder, am image of a pale man with yellow eyes biting him there flashed through his mind.
"I'll give you a little gift…"
"He will seek out my power"
Then the pain passed as the burning continued upwards and settled at his eyes. With the feeling of his eyes burning out of his head, Harry writhed on the floor, unable to do anything but faintly whimper. Soon the burning raced back through his body, feeling as if his blood was boiling in his veins. Moments before he blacked out the pain stopped, ending as quickly as it began. Lying on his back, Harry caught his breath, letting the world stop spinning.
Minutes later, he slowly rolled to his side, then to his hands and knees. He raised a shaky hand to grab the edge of the sink to help pull his sore and weak frame upright. He turned to the sink and slowly turned the water on before splashing himself in the face. As he turned of the faucet, he looked into the mirror, and time seemed to freeze. Looking back at him were red eyes with three comma shaped marks slowly circling his pupil. His eyes rolled into the back of his head as his mind shut down under a lifetime of hidden memories that flooded his conscious. As his body crumpled silently and his world went black, the last thing Harry heard was the sound of a thousand birds and two voices screaming.
"Rasengan!"
"Chidori!"
