Namine Strife. What do you think of when you hear that name?

I often hear, 'What a slut!' Or, 'That nerd, who would ever want her?' Or even, 'Just because of her father, she's famous.'

If you haven't guessed it already, that girl is me. My name is Namine Strife. I'm sixteen years old and I look so much like my father, Mayor Cloud Strife. We share the same blonde hair and blue eyes. Now, if you ask someone what do they think when they hear that name you'll probably get answers like, 'I'm proud to have him as my mayor.'

I don't hate my father; he is a pretty good guy actually. He just... well, he doesn't communicate very well with his family. Everytime when we have dinner, it would be silent. And when there's a family without communication, things would always turn out bad. My father had always signed me with lessons for everything! Even things I hate. If I could, I would stand up to him. If I wasn't just so damn scared.

Despite of that, paparazzi follow me everywhere. Seriously. They make up lies, all of them do. Last month, I went to a RIku's house just for some tea and the next day later, I'm called a slut all over the magazines. I have no idea how that happened. I guess it was because Riku was a guy and I stayed at his house far longer than I expected. Dad was pretty mad at me when I came home; I missed out on three lessons.

I hate walking to school, or even being in school. Sure I had friends but I didn't like them. Are they even called friends? Riku's my only true friend but he's like a brother to me. And as for falling in love, there's no hope for me. Every time I confess the guy would always snicker, laugh or scream 'SLUT!' or something like that. And when that happens, Riku would always bash them up. I was thankful for that.

A simple wish. That's all I want. No one forcing me into stuff and following me around 24/7.

I just want to be a normal sixteen year old girl who falls in love.

And that's what I'll be.
