A story for my friend who adores Zack X Aerith. I wrote this to explain how Zack, Aerith and Seph ended up in Black Order in chapter 13 of Dawn of a new era.
Zack was on this way to the church, where they had agreed to meet the day before. He allowed himself to ask why he asked Aerith to follow him.
Flashback
"Aerith, would you follow me to Black Order?" Zack asked.
"I don't know Zack… You do know I have never been out of here before."
Zack smiled.
"I'll be with you Aerith, no matter where you are."
"I'll think about it. Meet me at the church tomorrow and I'll give you my answer."
Flashback ends
Zack sighed. He didn't want to think about leaving but he kept thinking about his blonde chocobo headed friend. He needed his help at Black Order because Black Order was running out of exorcist and fast.
He didn't want Aerith to come along but couldn't help asking. Now, he had to wait for her answer.
"Zack," Aerith whispered.
Zack spun around.
"Aerith, have you decided?"
"Yes, I have. I'll come with you."
"Just wait for us Cloud, we're coming.I just can't wait to meet you and elder sister, Pandora Aurora, or better known as Klaud Nyne," Zack whispered to himself.
Cloud suddenly looked up in the sky.
"What wrong Cloud?" Skye asked.
"It's nothing."
As though he heard Zack, he whispered, "I am waiting for you Zack. Hope you reach here as soon as possible and safely."
