NaLu one-shot:fluff

"NO! STOP, LET ME GO! Please leave me alone. Please…" Lucy whimpered out in her sleep.

The pink haired boy jolted awake next to her ready to protect his screaming friend. Only to find her sleeping next to him sobbing in her sleep.

"Oi, Luce." He gently shook her shoulder. "It's okay. It's just a dream."

The blond slowly opened her watery eyes and looked up at her teammate.

"Natsu?" she sniffled while putting on a smile "Did I wake you?"

The dragon slayer nodded and said "Yeah, it's okay though." Suddenly he turned more serious. "Are you alright?"

Lucy smiled up at him "Of course I'm alright. Why wouldn't I…"

"CUT THE CRAP LUCY!" He suddenly yelled "You look like garbage, you're tired all the time, and you have constant nightmares! So, I'll ask again; what is wrong?"

The petite blond looked down for a moment; her eyes fixated on the fluffy, pink, blanket that covered her legs

"Luce…" Natsu started to say

"We all have a past we want to forget."

"What?"

Lucy looked up. Her brown eyes filled with tears but, a solemn expression on the rest of her face.

"I said," she started "That we all have a past we want to forget."

Natsu stared at his partner "Luce, what are you talking…"

Lucy cut him off "Natsu, I…I don't deserve any of this. Friends, my magic, or…you. I'm just a no good, rich, little runaway that couldn't solve her own problems."

"THAT'S NOT TRUE! YOU DESERVE ALL OF THAT AND MORE LUCE! You deserve everything you have, you earned it."

At that Lucy broke down sobbing. Not knowing what else to do Natsu wrapped his warm arms around the shaking girl.

"Shhh…It's okay." He whispered softly into her ear.

Her sobbing slowed down until all that was left were her red, puffy eyes and trails of the salty water running down her cheeks.

"Lucy, don't ever think for one second that you don't deserve any of this." Natsu said his mouth then lifted into a grin. "And don't you ever say you don't deserve me you werido."

"Hey!" Lucy exclaimed jokingly.

"They both lied down to go back to sleep. After lying in the dark a few moments Natsu spoke.

"Luce?"

"Yes Natsu?"

"I love you."

"I love you to Natsu."

With that Natsu pulled his girlfriend closer to him and placed a kiss on the top of her head.

"I always will." He thought before drifting off to sleep.
