Beneath Twilight
(an ode to Stephenie Meyer's Twilight)
She awaits the eternal twilight
A spell-bound dream that smells so sweet
Her aching shines fiercly
an echo in his eyes
Things ravel, a tireless hurt,
a cold shiver
binding the thread, woven together –
unabashedly, uninterrupted
The spring is sweeter
a damning curse
Blink back!
Back to the days,
my unknowingness sane!
A trade of which would be sinful.
A mortal wound
Infected by the tears
Come Home Again!
The scream is left,
painted to the walls,
a mark of love.
Merely a taste of torture
Kick up the heart, the wreckage is smooth,
ocean beaten.
