Time Will Tell
Chapter 1
I looked through the fabric to Rogue climbing out. I watched as the "Wolverine" walked back to his truck, leaving my new friend behind. I silenced a laugh as he stopped for her. He does have a nice side. About 3 minutes later, he stopped again, coming out. He walked over to my side of his luggage thing. He grabbed my bag and walked back into the truck.
"This is your other bag," he asked. "Yeah, thanks." She unzipped it. I rose, stretching, out of the bag.
"How the hell did you fit in there?" he stared, not even paying to the road. "I'm small for my age," I answered. He grunted turning back to the road (finally, I thought we would crash and die).
"Do you have any food," Rogue and I said. He pointed to the glove compartment. "Thanks," I let Rouge get her share first. What were left were some beef jerky, gum, and un-popped popcorn. I grabbed the latter, seeing that it was the only vegetarian food there. I checked the flavor. It was 'Simply Salted'. Yum. I waved my hand over it and concentrated on its future. Slowly, it started to pop. Within minutes every kernel was popped. I smiled as enjoyed it.
"You all mutants, too?" he asked. I nodded timidly. I looked over to Rogue to see her look away and nod.

"What's up," I said as Logan sniffed the air. He stopped the truck and got out. The fight that ensued was totally ignored as Rogue and I were trying to get her seatbelt unlocked.
"Tend to the fire, Time," she panted.
"Okay," I stood and turned around. There was a lot of heat, but little flame. It was crawling to the propane tank in the corner. I walked over to the flame. Now it was burning hot. I put my hand just over them and stared into the fire. I focused on the past, where there weren't any flame.
"Ah!" I screamed. I kept thinking on its future and it enlarged.
BOOM! Thankfully, a man had gotten Rogue out. The fire reached the propane tank. I went flying with a random car part.

I woke up freezing. I peeked open an eye. I still where the truck was exploded. I tried to sit up but I quickly regretted that idea. I rolled over to puke. Once I was sure I wasn't doing to puke, I sat up. There were people everywhere. There were cop cars and an ambulance. There was a guy, a doctor probably, coming towards me with a stretcher. He helped me onto it and lifted me into the ambulance.
"Are you alright?" I nodded. "There are some serious burns all over your body and car parts everywhere. What do you remember? Was anyone else hurt? A man and a woman called in the accident but they're nowhere to be found. Are they your parents?" it was a lot of questions for a doctor. Shouldn't a detective be asking those? I decided to act like I was unconscious the whole time.
"I remember walking down the street to go home and then a white van pulled in front of me and a man walked out. He put a handkerchief that smelled weird to my face and I fell asleep. Then I woke up from a lot of pain and fell asleep again." He nodded. He turned around to get a nurse. I toke the moment to focus on my past state and felt instantly better. The doctor turned back to me. His eyes widened in shock. He regained his senses and tested me again.
"You may go," I ran out of the hospital to the nearest bus stop.
