A.N This is a sequel to my first fanfic for Spirited Away; "Chihiro To Sen Return To The Spirit World". So many reviewers were unhappy with the ending, and by popular demand I am providing a corking sequel. I really love it already.

Disclaimer I do not own anything from Spirited Away or Studio Ghibli. I do however own the characters Ashikaga, and the little black neko. :D

CHAPTER ONE: The Little Neko

Haku closed his eyes and listened to everything nature had to say. The sound of the stream trickling softly just under his feet reminded him of her dipping her feet in the water at the train station. The sound of the wind making the trees whisper a sad song gave him shivers inside.

His heart of hearts pined for Chihiro. Her soft porcelain skin and glistening innocent eyes. Haku lay back into the soft grass on the hill. Suddenly he felt something like warm, wet sandpaper brush away his tears. He opened his eyes and to his dismay sat a small black cat gazing affectionately up at him. He sat up abruptly, shocked to see such a little cat in the middle of such vast countryside.

"Hello there, little neko..." He said softly.

The cat meowed and jumped onto Haku's lap, getting black fur all over his overalls. It padded at his clothes for a moment, then snuggled up to his chest and fell fast asleep.

Now Haku was in a predicament, he had a cat across his lap but his legs were going numb. How long did cats usually sleep for anyway? The silky cat looked too cute and peaceful for him to try to move, but he had to get back to the bathhouse and out of Murky Village for good. He sat and gazed up at the bright blue sky, it was odd to see no clouds, but the colour was so beautiful and clear that he was glad there were no clouds to ruin it.

He felt a wriggle and looked down to see the darling little cat standing up ever so slowly and stretching out it's little front paws.

It was so adorable, he just had an urge to protect and take care of it.

The door of the cottage flung open, almost off of it's rusting hinges. A burbling Ashikaga hobbled out, running, but not as quick as he would like to be on his little legs.

"Mister Haku! Mister Haku!" he yelled. "Mis-"

In his haste, the little imp had tripped over a mole-spirit hill and fallen into a hole. Haku stifled a giggle. He looked down, but the little cat was nowhere to be seen.

"It must have run away when Ashikaga started making a racket." He thought sadly, he had taken a liking to the cat.

The imp emerged from the hole, his blue hair all in a mess and looking very flustered and embarrased. He tottered over to Haku.

"Mister Haku," He repeated. "I have something to tell you."
