"So," Dean started, tossing the bag of fast food items he had managed to get from one of the last places open at eleven o'clock at night, and not a pizza places. "Got anything on the job Bobby sent us?"

"Uhh…" Sam looked up from his laptop and frowned slightly. His stomach had been messed up since the whole "getting his soul back" thing and the scent wafering from the bag was… Well, less than appealing. "The situation is pretty weird. I mean, the house before the fire it was completely normal but now –"

"Wait," Dean interrupted as he sat across from his brother and unpacked his findings. "Fire?"

Glancing back down to his laptop Sam continued, "Not ourkind of fire, Dean. But weird enough." He turned the laptop screen toward Dean, revealing a photograph of a seemingly normal house and reached for the half of the food that his brother had placed on his side of the table. "The House burned down in the 80's and got rebuilt a few years later by the property owners. But nobody ever bought it because it's supposedly "cursed."

Dean bit a massive bite into his bacon cheeseburger and glanced over the pictures and words before he turned the laptop back towards his brother.

"And?" Dean asked.

"And there's a pretty long list of people that would've gone in there and gone missing, Dean. Like, four in the past year alone."

Gesturing towards Sam's laptop, Dean wiped the grease from his burger on his jeans and puts it down. Spinning the device around, he clicks on the list of missing persons Sam had pulled up and raises a brow. "Huh."

Dean picked up a few fries and shoved them unceremoniously in his mouth and turned the screen back around.

"I was thinking vengeful spirit."

"That's what I'm thinking," Dean said, in thought.

"Worth checking out at least." Sam eyed the food that he had pulled towards him and mirrored his brother, greasy French fries shoved into his mouth.

"Yeah, I think so."

Once the duo was done with their lunch, Sam wiped his keyboard and tracing pad with a wayward napkin and caught the time on his watch.

"Bright and early in the AM or do some asking around and try for later?"

Dean gave his brother an If you think I'm getting up at 4 AM again, you're dead look, and said with a grand amount of conviction, "Later."
