Aegon. That had been her biggest mistake. Daena was sure he already was paying in the deepest of the seven hells. But give the ancient Targaryen sword to a bastard was one, if not the worst. That way he incited a rebellion that had costed the Seven Kingdoms thousands of lives and it was not over yet. But all could have been avoided if she simply would not have been so defiant. Challenging Baelor had caused all this. Aegon was guilty of everything they said, Daena knew his cousin was everything they said. But she gave life to Daemon. It made her as guilty as his cousin. Twenty thousand deaths and their blood were in the hands of Daena. That feeling of guilt invaded her and Daena could not help it. It was a fall of 50 feet, but enough to silence the fault. Enough for Daena the Defiant.
