Harry looked on at the scene with a smile. It wasn't perfect, not by a long shot. But it was something he never though he would ever have.
A family.
His wonderful wife, the ever patient Ginny, sat on the floor, encouraging their toddler daughter to walk. She held each of her hands as Lily wobbled before taking a hesitant step. As every other time, this step proved too much and she overbalanced, toppling to the floor, giggling hysterically.
His sons, James and Albus, chased each other around the room, upsetting several ornaments and books along the way. Ginny yelled at them to stop and they did, lips trembling at being told off.
It wasn't entirely perfect, but it was his.
