Percy Jackson goes into Gryffindor

"Clarisse La Rue!" Mr. D called.

The daughter of Ares, also known as Drakon Slayer stepped onto the wooden stool with a thump. She had a pair of brown eyes and her boyish hair was tied up in a bandana. Her light brown hair looked like spikes growing out from the bandana. Her muscular arms held a thick wand that perfectly matched her attire.

… "GRYFFINDOR!"

"Too bad, the legendary Percy Jackson! Or, maybe now its the 'unknown Percy Jackson', and the legendary Clarisse!" Clarisse said out loud. "Hopefully you'll end up in Slytherin, Punk," Clarisse said under her breath.

"Clarisse! Clarisse! Clarisse!" The Gryffindors chanted in unison as she walked to the table.

"Clarisse in Gryffindor?" Percy said aloud.

"Well, yeah. She is really brave, she fights and draws her wand without even thinking." Replied Annabeth.

"Yeah, whatever." Percy rolled his eyes and elbowed Annabeth in the ribs while speaking.

"What was that, Seaweed Brain? Elbowing me in the ribs?" Annabeth murmured with a grin.

"Travis Stoll!" The wine dude shouted again.

… "HUFFLEPUFF!"

"Conner Stoll!"

… "HUFFLEPUFF!"

The Hufflepuff table cheered and clapped their hands to welcome the Stoll brothers.

"No way. The Stoll brothers in Hufflepuff?" Percy asked questionably. "I thought they would be in Gryffindor."

"Yeah! Same here." This time, Annabeth elbowed me in the ribs.

"Hey! What was—"

"Peter Johnson!" Mr. D's shout spoke through all of the talking and whispering. Then the crowd went quiet.

"Umm…" Percy said while walking through the crowd, "It's Percy Jackson."

"Hmm… Whatever, just come up." Mr. D shouted.

"It's up to you Seaweed Brain," Annabeth whispered into my ear. "Be brave."

While I walked to the wooden stool, my heart was thumping so loudly I could imagine Mr. D hearing it. When I reached there, the sorting hat sat there waiting. Then I could feel my heart beat stop.

What if I really ended up in Slytherin? What if I'm actually really cunning, ruthless, and ambitious? Would all of my friends leave me? …Even Annabeth?

I pushed that thought away from my mind, I took a deep breath and stepped onto the wooden stool. I could feel all of the pressure in myself as Mr. D placed the sorting hat on my head.

Please, not Slytherin! Not Slytherin! Not Slytherin!

Are you sure? It could be nice for you to be in Slytherin.

Hey? Where did that voice come from?

It's me, the Sorting Hat.

Just please, not Slytherin!

Are you sure?

Yes, I'm really sure.

… "Gryffindor!"

The Gryffindor table cheered and shouted my name as I walked towards the table.

'It could have been nice for you to be in Slytherin.' The Sorting Hat's voice still echoed in my ears. I felt relieved that the Sorting Hat did not put me into Slytherin. Really relieved.

"Ahem, so now that you have all enjoyed your meals, we should make some rules clear as you begin your year. Firstly, the Forbidden Forest is obviously forbidden for a reason, and we don't think you would want to find out the reason. Secondly, no magic between classes in the corridors, we do not want any stupefied students missing their next class. And finally, remember to rent your broomsticks ahead of Quidditch trials. Now you may go to your dorms." The wine dude said with a yawn.
