The Weasley's were walking to their car after a long meal at a small Muggle restaurant. It had been Hermione's favorite growing up, and she wanted to share it with her husband and children. However, with an upset five-year-old girl and a tantrum-throwing boy, it had been a complete and utter disaster. Rose had begun her whining when she set foot in the restaurant, and still ceased to stop. Hugo, meanwhile, was at a stage where he would throw everything in sight at his parents. This caused quite a bit of damage at the restaurant; Ron had to pay a fine for all the broken plates and glasses.

Ron, while pleading with Rose to stop her whining, bumped into a man walking ahead of his family.

"Honestly Ronald, you need to watch where you're going. Do I have to keep an eye on you as well as Rose and Hugo?" Hermione reprimanded him quietly.

"Hermione, calm down, it was an accident. I didn't shove the bloke on purpose."

"It didn't look like that," Hermione whispered, as the blonde man and his son turned around.

He looked familiar from the back, and it quickly became obvious who it was—Draco Malfoy— and his son. They stared at each other for a while, all three adults at a loss of words.

Finally Hermione said, "Hello Draco, how have you been?"

Unlike Harry, both Ron and Hermione had not spoken to Malfoy since the Battle of Hogwarts.

"Oh Granger—well I guess it's Weasley now—I've been well, I suppose" Malfoy replied curtly.

"That's nice to know," Hermione said.

"Okay then, guess we have to get going now—Malfoy," Ron said and nodded towards him.

"Weasley," Malfoy nodded in return.

"Rosie, we have to go now," Hermione called out to her daughter. She had been talking to Draco's kid while the adults were busy.

"Okay," she said, complying for once.

And they continued their walk.

"Well, that was bloody awkward," Ron let out when they finally reached their car.

"Ron, set a good example for your children!"

"Oh, that's right Hermione, I almost forgot!" Ron turned around in his seat, and spoke to his daughter.

"Rosie, do you remember what Daddy told you?"

"Yeah...you said boys were yucky!" Rose replied.

"Ron!" Hermione yelled in frustration, "That's a horrible thing to teach her!"

"So, why were you speaking to that yucky boy?" Ron continued to question, ignoring Hermione completely.

"Well he's just extra yucky...and I thought I should tell him that, but he just wouldn't stop talking. I'm not in trouble, right?" Rose said.

"Of course not, sweetie," Hermione replied before Ron could utter a word.

"But we're going to have a nice chat when we get home Ron, honestly."
