Summary
They had only started to date; with Sonny's transferred to a new show, they thought it was still going to work out. but were wrong. Sonny is forced to Brake up with Chad, for an On-screen/Off-screen fake relationship with, the old intern, Hayden Adamson. Five years later Sonny is over Chad and in an actually real relationship with Hayden, while Chad has never been able to let go. When Sonny's get a part in a movie, almost by 'Accident' with Chad as her love interest things definitely start to heat up! Response to PrettyKittyKat23's Challenge
Chapter 1: Five years past
Chad's POV
I was watching Sonny from across the Cafeteria crying, I new exactly why. Just one year ago Marshal Had found out He had Cancer, they told him he had Five years left. That day I found out, I even cried, everyone did. It was the Day sonny finally saw the soft side of me, and we started Dating, she cried for hours in my lap; me stroking her hair, finally falling asleep. It was the day I let go of Chad Dylan Cooper and Became Chad. The Boy who cared and loved, that's the person I should never of let out.
I crossed the Cafeteria to get to my Sonny; she was sitting at the So Random table with her hands in her fists and her legs tucked up to her body. I took the seat next to her sitting on it with the back of the chair board on my stomach; I took my hand and put it on her shoulder. At that touch she stiffened and looked over at me, I stared had into her eyes. Yes, she was sad but no where near tears. Her eyes only showed hurt, sadness and angry
"Sonny" I said trying to sooth her, rubbing her arm. She flinched when my hand touched her back. "Sonny, Baby what's wrong" I asked. She sniffed wiping away what ever snot she had left in her nose, took a deep breath and started talking. "Well I'm betting by now everyone knows about Marshal's Death" she said tears starting to enter her eyes. "Well we visited him a while back in hospital, when the doctor said he would live the full five years and only had a couple of months" she said sighing. "Well he told us to move on and start auditioning for different shows, Tawni, Nico, and Grady are starting up a new show called Hate equals more hate, Zora's going to continue with Celebrity Practical Joked. And well I'm…" she said, not finishing her sentence. My mouth just fell open.
"Oh no, please don't tell me you couldn't find something" I said a little too loud, shaking her shoulder. "I auditioned for a show and I got the part" she said. "Then what's the problem" I said still whispering but I had anger in my voice. "I auditioned for a sitcom, and I'm the main Character and I have a lo- lo- lo…" she said, not being able to get the word out,
"What" I whisper shouted at her anger filling my voice, because I know what's coming next. "I have a love interest" she said looking away. Even though I knew it was coming I was still super Angry at her. "You what?" I now shouted at her, everyone turned to look at us. "Look" she said. "I won't take the job if it upsets you" she said
"No" I said "You have to, or else you'll have to go back to Wisconsin" I said hopelessly. "I know" She said. "Can we talk about it somewhere else" she said, I got up and followed her to her dressing room. In there we talked about the plot of the show, and what it would do to our relationship. Every time I wanted to get angry at her the look in her eye told me she didn't want this any more than I did. And so I just let her go, not knowing it would be the biggest mistake of my life.
