Jin's had one too many drinks and Kaida's beginning to regret her decision to inform him of the benefits of the Irish on said holiday. Meanwhile, Touya is beginning to regret tagging along. Note: Look up the lyrics and you'll find that what Jin is singing is an actual song xD I thought it would fit :P

Drabble Challenge – [7/200] St. Patrick's Day – Jin [Yu Yu Hakusho]

" OH THERE WAS A YOUNG MAIDEN, SHE LIVED ALL ALONE, SHE LIVED ALL ALONE ON THE SHOREEE, ~! " a certain red-head sang drunkenly, the lyrics slurring heavily. Another drunken companion Kaida came to know as Chuu was slung around his shoulder, egging the drunken red-headed Jin to sing even further.

"'Ey, look at all me fans! They love me! 'Ey bartender! How 'bout another pint for me mates!" Jin laughed exuberantly. Meanwhile, as Jin drank some more whiskey, Kaida sat at the bar, accompanied by Toya and constantly banging her head on the table. Toya looked about ready to join her. On more than one occasion, Jin had tried to sing that same song to her. And every time he would forget the lyrics and start all over again until an Irish demon friend of his dragged him away for another drink. Now the singing was about to start again to Kaida's misfortune.

"Hey, lassie! How 'bout a little song?"

"NO."

"OKAY! HERE WE GO!"

"I SAID-"

"Oh no…" Toya groaned, covering his ears.

" THERE WAS NOTHING SHE COULD FIND TO COMFORT HER MIND, BUT TO ROAM ALL ALONE ON THE SHORE, SHORE, SHO-" he stopped and Kaida turned to look at him questionably. Jin's faced paled then turned a sickly green color. Then he made a dive for the trash can. Kaida shivered and fought back the urge to retch at the sound of Jin vomiting while Toya blocked out the sound. When it was over, a thump was heard and Kaida knew that Jin had passed out. While he slept, he mumbled unintelligible words then began to snore.

Standing right between Kaida and Toya, smelling heavily of alcohol, Chuu began to laugh obnoxiously and swung his arms around their shoulders. Simultaneously, both Kaida and Toya groaned in frustration.

"This is all your fault."

"I know…"

"Happy St. Patrick's Day, Kaida-chan," he wished sarcastically.

"Shut up…"

This would be the day she would always regret…

…the day she told Jin about the privileges of Irish and Scottish men on St. Patrick's Day…

…and the day Toya regretted deciding to tag along to make sure Jin stayed out of trouble…yeah…good job Toya…
