Author's Note: Okay, this is a poem, for lack of a better word =), that I wrote during physics. I was trying to drown out my teacher's voice, and so I decided to write (cause it looks as if I'm paying attention and taking notes =P). Poetry's not my forte, but I'd love some constructive criticism. Don't hold back! Enjoy!
Opposites
We are opposites.
We are one in the same.
We are two worlds apart.
We couldn't be closer.
How does this work?
Us being together?
We are an oddity,
Both mental and physical.
We are yin and yang
Epitomized.
Ebony, Ivory
Alabaster and bronze
Emerald, Silver
Smiling and solemn.
You were cold and unfeeling
But I've taught you better.
Now warm and welcoming
I've rubbed off on you.
We are indeed opposites
But we were made for each other.
