Russell Marvin Jr. looked up towards the sky. The year was 1970 and he was 6 years old. His father, Russell A. Marvin Sr., stood behind him.

"Look at the sky," His father said. Russel stared into the blank, blackness of space above him.

"If you look hard enough, you might see something moving, it might an airplane, it might be a shooting star, or it could be...", his father paused, "a flying saucer."

Russell's mother, Carol Marvin, called them both back into the house for dinner.

"Can't we stay?" Russell asked. "We can keep looking later, but when you do... always watch the sky." Russell's father said. Russell's father walked back into their house, but Russell stayed outside. He watched the stars and the dark matter. After a few minutes of staring into space, Russell could hear a high, pulsing noise. Then, he saw it.

It was a light gray, rotating, disk shaped machine. It was as if it was out of a movie. It zoomed at a moderate speed high above the ground. Then it rose higher out of sight. The noise was getting lower and lower until it can no longer be heard.

For the next 46 years, Russell Marvin Jr. followed his father's work as a UFO hunter and specialist. As technology progressed, Russell got connections with NASA and joined a research team. He was based somewhere in Florida, where he continues his research in order to search for the truth.
