Walking down the aisle, soft music playing, and at the end of the red carpet a handsome, brownish red, stallion with golden hair stood.

This wasn't exactly the wedding I had planned on having, it was a million times better!

I stared into his eyes for what seemed to be an eternity.

"Do you, Cherry Red, take Sky Painter, to be your loftily wedded wife?" asked Shooting Star, a good friend of Cherry Red, whom he had asked to marry us.

"I do." He replied quickly in his low, deep, smooth voice.

"And do you, Sky Painter, take Cherry Red, to be your loftily wedded husband?" he said, turning to me.

"I…"

"STOP!" shouted a voice from the crowd.

WHAT?! Who interrupted me?! Why would some pony not want us to get married?I asked myself.

Cherry and I had been dating happily for 3 years now, getting into few, if any, fights. Who wouldn't want us together, happily married?

I now saw the mare who spoke, and she was none other than Princess Celestia herself! By her side Princess Twilight Sparkle, Princess Luna, and even Princess Cadence!

WHY IN THE WIDE WORLD OF EQUESTRIA WERE THEY ALL AT MY WEDDING?!

The answer was just what I had feared.

"You cannot marry her." Declared Princess Celestia.

"Why can I not marry the one I love?" countered Cherry. He stood in front of me now.

"Because…" I started without giving Celestia time to respond.

No. I thought. I must be the one to tell him. I owed him that much.

"Why?" he asked sounding confused as to what was happening.

"B-because I'm… I'm a… I am a…" I stammered.

"What are you?!" he asked loudly.

"BECAUSE I'M A CHANGELING!" I confessed.

The last thing I could remember was the horrified look in my loves eyes, then it all went black.
