River Bond
A youth went to the river
Watched the sunset on the water shimmer
Across the water he saw a friend
Although he didnt know it then
She needed a drink
Which made her think
The river would do well
That was till she saw a boy which made her blush
She liked him she could tell
He watched her run away
While not a word said
He stood there in awe with nothing say
And chased the girl whose face was red
She ran and ran till her legs were like paper
She didn't know why she did it she'll figure out later
She took a bath wondered why she was so coy
In her room in her bed she dreamt of the boy
That was until sleep came to fully overtake her
He couldn't find her
No matter how hard he tried
She lived in another village he was sure
He vowed to find her and search far and wide
From then on he searched from June to May
Though his story would never end that way
Neither would hers as that day in her mind went replay
And what happened to the two you say
They became best friends and now wake to each other every day
