Basically I was listening to Tyler Farr's Withdrawals with Supernatural on my mind. This is what was created. Hope you enjoy. I do not own Supernatural or the song Withdrawals. All credit goes to the actual owners...which is not me.
You were that whiskey running through my veins
You were that first sweet taste of Mary Jane
All alone in the darkness watching my hands shake
But they don't have a rehab for heartbreak
She was everything to him. He sat in the darkened motel room, listening to Sam sleep, watching his hands shake as he downed yet another glass of whiskey, trying, desertaley tryiung to imitate the fire she set within him. It wasn't even close.
It's your blue sundress with the strap fallin off of your shoulder
It's that all night moonlight kiss you saying baby pull over pull over
It's that long kiss barely coming up for air
Had to have you anytime and everywhere
So hooked on you probably never get clean and sober
She'd wear that dress he liked so much, the one that matched her eyes. They'd sneak out in the middle of the night just to go for a drive. Eventually they'd stop and lay on the hood of the Impala, watching the stars. She'd pull him into that kiss that never failed to leave him breathless. He had to have her. She was so ingrained in him, in his memories, he'd probably never get over her.
Woah I bang my head against the moon
I bang my fist against the wall
You always used to get me high
Now all I do is crash and burn
I'm going through Withdrawals
I'm going through Withdrawals
I'm going through Withdrawals
Yeah you got me going through 'em
He threw the glass against the wall, not caring if he woke Sm up or not. She was his high. Now she was gone. It was like he couldn't breathe wihtout her. He couldn't do anything without her. He needed her.
It's the rain on the window with your body wrapped tight around me
It's that lightning flash in your eye make me want you so badly madly
You're the ghost that's still sleeping in my bed
The song i can't turn off in my head
You're the perfect storm, yeah baby, and I'm still drowning
He remembered nights when she would curl into him, her body seeking his warmth on those rainy nights. That flash in her eye when she got mad that made him want her. He could still feel her sleeping next to him, hear her breathe his name in her sleep. Their song was stuck on repeat in his head and he couldn't shut it off. He felt like he was drowning in memories. Memories of them.
Woah I bang my head against the moon
I bang my fist against the wall
You always used to get me high
Now all I do is crash and burn
I'm going through Withdrawals
I'm going through Withdrawals
I'm going through Withdrawals
Yeah you got me going through 'em
He finally found the word that described what he was going through. He used to get so high on her. All he was doing now was falling. He was going through Withdrawals. Withdrawals of Jo.
I'm going through Withdrawals
I'm going through Withdrawals, yeah
