"It's beautiful."
Brittany smiled. She was facing the girl she has been in love with the past 3 years. They've known each other since high school and they have always been good friends. Being on the cheerleading team and glee club (they still keep in contact with all their friends from glee by the way) they've never stopped hanging out. She was snapped back to earth by a simple question.
"Where did you get it?"
"Oh you know a jewelry store."
Santana laughed. Brittany wasn't the smartest girl but she was lovable. It was very easy to fall in love with her dim-witted acts of kindness.
"What's it for?"
Brittany smiled slyly.
"What's that smile for?"
Being very quiet Brittany dropped on one knee as Santana started to slowly gasp at Brittanys movement.
"Santana, I've known for these past 3 years what I wanted from you. It's not sex or lady kisses. But it's your love, which is probably the only thing that keeps me living. I realized that taking your offer in high school to be girlfriends, and not just lovers was probably the smartest choice I've ever made. Of course I did love Artie but I loved you more. And after waiting 3 years I've realized what is suppose to happen. I'm suppose to fall for you. And you fall for me. And we live happily ever after just like Cinderella and her prince. Except my prince is a girl…"
"B-brittany…"
"What I'm trying to say is…will you Santana Lopez marry me?"
Tears fell down her cheek, to be honest Santana didn't see this coming. She was expecting 3 more years until Brittany proposed or until she proposed. She didn't know what to say. Brittanys speech was touching in that Brittany kind of way. She didn't care if this girl thought that dolphins were gay sharks. She wanted to marry this girl.
"Brittany, I promise you I'll be the best wife ever."
"Pinky promise?"
"Pinky promise."
They entwined their pinkies together sealing their love and marriage.
