"You are called..."
"We need you."
"You won't be alone anymore..."
"You need to wake up."
"Stop the endless Nightmare..."
"Wake Up!"
He was restless in his sleep, tossing and turning while he relived the dream that had haunted his nights. It was always the same, he was in absolute darkness, staring out. Then the voices came. One was sweet and loving, while the other was harsh and angry. And it always ended the same, with him sitting bolt up right in his bed, panting and covered in sweat. And it was always caused by the Harsh voice ordering him to wake up.
This time it was slightly different, He swore he saw a faint light in the distance.
He looked out the window of his room, sighing quietly before getting out of bed. He carried on with his morning routine; shower, brush teeth, get dressed. After all that, he pulled on his hoodie and walked out the front door.
As he walked along the familiar road that led to his bus stop, he stared up at the purple-ish sky. This had to be his favorite time of day, those few minutes when the sun climbed over the horizen .
Arriving at the curb that marked his bus stop, he noticed Sonya wasn't there yet and as he turned his head to look for her, he heard it.
"You are needed Darkovis..." Echoed the Loving voice from his dream. Hearing it he froze, his eyes widening as he felt a slight chill travel up his spine. He was staring down the road, trmebling slightly.
"What are we looking at?" This time the voice came from his left, causing him to jump. The new voice giggled at him, it's owner, a lithe bodied girl with long, platnium blonde hair and forest green eyes.
"I made you jump there, tough guy." Chimed the girl, still giggling at him.
He let out a quiet sigh before shaking his head and smiling at her.
"You startled me Sonya..." His azure eyes locked with her green ones.
The girl, Sonya, giggled again, poking him in the chest. A bright smile lighting up her face.
"Awww! You look so cute when you jump like that!" Her voice was like music to his ears. "So what were you thinking about that made you so oblivious to me?"
"Just a dream I had last night." he lied. He reached up and let his hood down, causing his jet black hair to fall over his shoulders and frame his face.
Her eyes lit up a bit. "Oh? What about?"
He was never to say it, because as he opened his mouth to speak they were both engulfed in light.
