The Long Lonely Road

Chapter one: The Monster of the Road

One cold stormy night back in my home country, there was a road that anyone rarely traveled. And if who ever traveled it went missing and where never found. Well I did travel that road to get home and get out of the storm. I didn't have much trouble until I found scuff marks on the road. I looked around, but didn't see anything, so I started walking again. I heard what I thought was a scream and started running as fast as I could, big mistake, next thing I knew I was on the ground with some kind of wolf-man thing on me. I tried to get loss but I couldn't. I was at the mercy of the monster.

I looked up at it and saw what looked like sadness in its eye's. Foolishly I asked, "What's wrong. Did u lose a loved one?"

"Yes," it said as it turned human, "my wife is missing I came looking for her two day's ago, but didn't find anything, not even a body. When I stared running home something bit my arm, and I turned into the same creature. When I turned back into my human form I looked around and didn't see anything. Are u alright? Did I bite u?"

I looked at my arm and saw the bit mark. It was oozing blood. I looked at him, he had a greenish color to his face.

"How did I bite u?" he asked shocked, "I was sure I wasn't going to be able to from where I was."

"What's going to happen to me?" I asked, "My moms going to kill me if she finds out that someone bit me, and then the person who bit me."

I started feeling funny. I looked at my hands, they weren't hands any more. My hands had become paws. I felt my face start to expand and my arms and legs grow. I was now a werewolf. I felt like I was invincible, until I ran into a tree, after awhile I got control of my new form and turned human again. After a few hours I went home. I asked the guy if u wanted to come with me but he said no.

"Where have u been?" asked my mom.

"I toke the lonely road and got distracted," I said.

"You had me worried sick," she snapped, "your grounded for the next month."

"But mom…."

"No buts. To your room!" she yelled.

But before I could stop myself I cussed at her.

"That's two months now," she said, "want to make it three."

But I didn't listen and went to my room to play video games. I looked at the bite mark and out of the corner of my eye say nails start to turn into claws.
