Hey guys! I got a new story! (cues confetti). I know I haven't updated on any of my other stories, so if you like them, sorry. Then again, if you do like my stories, then write some reviews, you lazybones, and I'll maybe, maybe, update.
Shulk: You're so cruel.
Deal with it. Oh, and just for fun, I added Spirit Animals into this story! And the Keeper of Greenhaven will join the Smashers. Well, kinda. You'll see.
Anyway, on with the story.
It's seemed like years since the war began.
Ba-boom.
Every day, we fight for our lives.
Ba-boom.
We lost friends.
Ba-boom.
We lost family.
Ba-boom.
There's only one way to end this.
Ba-boom.
To fight.
Ba-boom.
To kill.
Ba-boom.
To survive.
Prologue
Long, long ago, the realms were at peace. There were many realms, the Realm of Popstar, the Kingdom of Emblem, the Province of Pokemon, the Nation of Icarus, and much more. All were in a truce, and the world was happy.
One of the more powerful realms was the Land of Hyrule. Hyrule had faced many dangers, but the heroes, ahem, hero, always thwarted them. As always, this hero was Link. The Calamity Ganon had finally been defeated, and he was sitting on the castle tower with Zelda, perfectly content, and happy. King Rhoam had been revived (don't ask me how, or why, I just did it, so there.), and everything was joyous.
But alas, 'joyous', was not to be seen, heard, or even thought, for years.
Do you remember Vaati, from Minish Cap? No? Well, Vaati was a Minish (a teeny tiny human-like cute creature) who was the student of Elzo, a head magician Minish. Elzo was kind to humans, and made them a hat that could grant wishes, so of course, Vaati stole it. He became all powerful (not really), and turned Elzo into a duck-hat. Elzo went to find help, and found Link. They defeated Vaati, and Elzo became a Minish again and imprisoned Vaati.
Vaati eventually found a way to escape, unnoticed. He sneaked into Elzo's house, and stole another magic hat.
And you'll think he (Elzo) would learn his lesson after the first Hat Fiasco.
Yep.
So Vaati turned into a powerful magician, and tried to kill Elzo. Elzo escaped, but was unable to stop him. After losing Elzo, Vaati turned on who he could punish: Link. Or rather, a incarnation of Link. Same thing. So, after doing some Googling to catch up on the world, Vaati traveled to the Land of Hyrule, murdered Rhoam, and became King (by making people into stone if they disobeyed him). Vaati went to war against the other Realms and destroyed all of them except for two of the most powerful realms.
Popstar? Gone.
Pokemon? Gone.
Star Fox? Gone.
Street Fighter? Gone.
Mario? Gone.
Every single Realm, destroyed utterly, and wiped off the map. Only a few survived. The two remaining Realms, Kingdom of Emblem and the Erdas Empire (Spirit Animals!) went to war at each other (courtesy of Vaati's tricks) and became enemies, along with the Land of Hyrule. Vaati, of course was winning the war, until Andrew, Rhoam's son, learned of his true heritage (after being raised as a farmer). He murdered Vaati and became a just king.
Unfortunately, this didn't help with the war. The three remaining Realms were in a hateful lock, destined to keep fighting until there was one remaining. The people of the Realms mourned the losses of their friends and swore vengeance, fighting the others for their friends, family. Or so they thought.
There was still hope.
A small group of survivors from the War grouped together. Around seventy in total, they proved no liable threat, but they were powerful, the strongest fighters in their Realm. They casted aside rivalries, and joined together for a common goal. They called themselves the Smashers, determined to end the War once and for all.
About the Realms
The remaining three Realms were the most powerful, and worth mentioning.
The Erdas Empire
The Erdas Empire was ruled by King Olvan and Queen Lenori, who were just and kind. The palace of Erdas was the Evertree, used to be a sacred place, but was perfectly able to house a bunch of people. They are known across the world for their Spirit Animals, and the Generals are known and feared.

Ravi stared across the horizon, his eyes fixed on the point were the sky and ground met. The wind blew in his sea-blue hair. His sister walked up beside him.
"Hey. You okay?"
Ravi shook himself from his thoughts. "Yeah. Yeah."
Heather stared at him for a second. "What are you thinking?"
Ravi sighed and stood straight. "It seemed just yesterday we joined the Smashers. But now, we're the top generals."
"Yeah. If it stops the War, well..." She trailed off.
Ravi stared into the sky. He still remembered the day he and Heather joined the Smashers.
Flashback
"Come on. We're almost there." He urged as he and his sister ran through the fog.
They had just narrowly escaped from an attack from the Emblem Scout Troop. They fought hard, but suffered large injuries. He winced as his foot slammed down on the asphalt again.
"How do we know it's here anyway?" Heather said.
"You better hope it is, or we're screwed."
Eventually, the arrived at the castle of the Smashers. Ravi breathed a sigh of relief. They risked so much, wanting to end the war, so they sneaked away from Erdas to join the Smashers. They couldn't up now, or all they done would be for nothing.
A white arrow zipped past his face. His eyes widened.
"Don't shoot!" He yelled, but the archers shot anyway.
Five figures stepped into view. Pit. Dark Pit. Link. Young Link. Toon Link. They rained arrows at them.
"Defense Delta!" Heather yelled, and they leaped into action.
Even injured, the Keepers of Greenhaven were a force to be reckoned with. They deflected arrows, and a few zipped dangerously close to Pit. Ravi swept his green cloak across himself, and an arrow shattered against it.
Link growled. "They're Erdians!"
The arrows continued. Heather fell with a cry, a purple arrow imbedded in her forearm. The arrow disappeared, leaving no visible mark, but Heather's face was filled with pain. She rose her own bow, ready to fire.
"Hold your fire!" A voice cut through the arrows.
The archers stopped their assault, but their bows were still raised to fire. They tensed. A figure with purple hair and a gold sword stepped out.
"I am Ike." He said, in a deep commanding voice. "Who are you?"
Ravi stood with difficulty. "I am Ravi. My sister is Heather. We are the Keepers of Greenhaven."
A small gasp occurred. Ravi felt a shimmer of pride. The Keepers were known across the world and respected, even before the War.
Young Link started to kneel, until Link bumped him with a glare.
Ike's expression didn't change. He didn't seem amazed. "Why are you here?"
Heather spoke up. "We were here to become Smashers, and just arrived until we started to be fired at."
Dark Pit sheepishly rubbed his head. "Er, sorry."
Pit gave him a sharp look. "Quiet. How do we know they're not spies?"
Ravi felt annoyed. "We risked so much, got hurt, left our friends and home. We risked our lives to come here. We came here to end the War, not to start another one. I swear, I am not lying."
Ike mused. All eyes were on him. "Put them in the infirmary. If they do get recruited, that would be nice. They are good fighters."
Heather frowned. "Wait!" Ike turned. "Aren't you going to decide that?"
Ike laughed, a good hearty chuckle. "I'm just a general. The decision is up to Marth."
"Come in." A melodic yet stern voice came from inside the tent.
Ravi lifted the tent entrance and entered. Inside was a blue haired young man in armor. At his side laid a jar of candy and a razor sharp sword with a jewel in the middle.
The young man looked up. "So you're the new recruits."
Ravi frowned. "To be honest, we haven't been recruited yet."
"We just got here."
"It matters not if you are a newcomer or veteran." The man stood up."To get into the Smashers, you have to prove that you are worthy."
Heather hesitated. "What kind of test is it?"
The young man raised an eyebrow at Heather, as if just seeing her. "Obviously, the girl must stay behind."
Ravi glared at him, annoyed. "Why." It wasn't much as a question, more of a demand.
The blue-haired man stared back. "Because she is trouble. I can see."
Heather stepped forward, but Ravi beat her to it. "I don't care. She's coming, whether you like it or not. Who the heck are you anyway?"
The man looked at him, amused. "I am Marth. Leader of the Smashers."
Heather gasped. Ravi stared in shock.
Marth continued. "And you passed the test."
Ravi frowned. "Wait what?"
Marth chuckled. "To be a Smasher you must be selfless, brave, and above all, compassionate."
Heather didn't believe it. "So what you said was to make us split up to see if we would?"
Marth nodded. "Welcome to the Smashers, Keepers of Greenhaven."
The twins had got into the Smashers without much trouble. After several months, they became one of the highest top generals, on par with Marth and Link. The Smashers mostly helped people who couldn't help themselves. That was a start.
Ravi's thoughts were cut short, when Ness came to them.
"Ravi. Heather. The Council started."
The council consisted of Marth, Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Yoshi, Kirby, Pikachu, Fox, Samus, Falcon, Ness, Jigglypuff, Luigi, and Ravi and Heather.
Ravi walked into the Council Room, where everyone was already. "What's going on?" He asked, taking his seat.
"We got a message. From Cordelia." Mario replied.
Heather raised an eyebrow. "The General of Emblem?"
"Yes."
"What kind of message?"
Marth spoke up. "Cordelia says the King Rowan and Queen Leanne has prepared to do something. Something big. They're planning to invade us."
"WHAT!? How?" Heather exclaimed, shocked.
"Apparently they used the same route as you did when you first came, and somehow pinpointed our location."
Ravi looked grim. "That's right...on our way here, we were attacked by Emblem soldiers."
"What do we do then?"
Silence filled the room. Link spoke grimly. "We can't hope to defeat them. They're too strong."
Ravi looked up. "Have you told the Smashers yet?"
The faces on the Council Members said it all. No.
So! Like it? No? Fine.
