Merry Christmas, Wave

Pairing: StormXWave

Summary: Storm does something suspicious around Christmas eve, Wave wants to find out.

"Storm, what do you think you're doing?" A purple swallow asked, as she stood at the door way in Storm's room. The gray albatross was sitting on the floor, his back was facing Wave, and an object was on his lap. Tape, colorful wrapping paper, and scissors were placed right beside him. His eyes widened in alarm. He should have closed his door. Storm quickly stood up, while trying to hide the evidence.

"N-nothing!" Storm stammered, he desperately tried to hide her gift.

A suspicious look appeared on her face. "Oh really?" He nodded his head, beads of sweat now formed on his brow.

"So, what are you hiding then?" Wave smirked, as she leaned against the door way. She then crossed her arms over her chest.

"I'm not hiding anything!" The large albatross argued. He desperately wanted her to get out of his room. If she saw his present for her, then everything would be ruined.

She nodded her head and said, "Of course you aren't." She smirked as she slowly walked to Storm. The gray albatross' eyes widened. He quickly got up and grabbed her by her arm.

"Hey! Let go of me, Storm!" She yelled out; her face slightly heated up from that simple touch. Storm then used his free arm pick her up by her torso area. Wave's eyes widened at the awkward touch.

"Storm! Put me down, now!" Wave screeched out, her hand formed into a fist and she used her fist to hit his head.

"Ouch! Stop it!" Wave used her legs to kick Storm's back. She wouldn't stop until she was set down back on the ground. Storm tried to ignore the painful, yet pathetic, blows to his body. He quickly walked out of his room and gently set Wave back on the ground. Her face was flushed from screaming so much, her chest heaved in, and she had an angry expression on her face.

"Storm!" Before she could yell at him, or beat him up again, Storm slammed the door in her face. He quickly sat back down and continued to wrap the object with the wrapping paper, quite poorly.

Suddenly, the door bursted open. At the door way, stood a very angry swallow.

"Oh crap, I forgot to lock the door." Storm said to himself. Wave the Swallow quickly ran to Storm. Using all of her strength, she repeatedly hit Storm on his chest.

"Don't. Ever. Pick. Me. Up. Like. That. Again!" She said in between hits. To Storm, her hits felt like mosquito bites.

"Come on, Wave, can't you just get out of my room for about five minutes." Storm said in the most maturest way possible. Wave was shocked at his words. She would have said yes, but she saw an object resting on the floor.

"Alright, only if you tell me what that is." Wave said calmly, as she walked toward the object.

Storm's eyes widened. "No!" Wave didn't listen to him; she sidestepped Storm and picked up the gift that was trying to be "hidden". The gray albatross growled; it's ruined now. He resisted to pick her up again and throw her out of his room.

"Aw, who's this gift for?" Wave gushed, as she held up a gold heart locket.

Storm rolled his eyes and muttered, "You..."

Wave smiled, "Aw, really? You shouldn't have." Wave put the beautiful, gold locket around her neck. "How does this look on me?"

Storm ignored her question; he growled. "It's ruined now."

Wave slowly spun around. "What's ruined?"

"You weren't supposed to know about this gift until Christmas, now it's ruined." Storm's head was hung low as he confessed.

"Well, I was going to find out anyways, right? So it doesn't matter. All that matters is that this is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me." Wave smiled, her face heated up now. But not from anger like before...

"Merry Christmas, Wave."

The End!!!
