Kisame dove deeper into the frigid ocean. Where is my prey? He thought. The ocean was pitch black to a normal human but Kisame could see clearly. The ocean bottom, the deep sea fish including the giant squid to his left… he could see everything like it was in broad daylight. His prey, on the other hand, could not see as clearly as he could. He thought he would have some fun with his easy prey before finishing it off but all of a sudden, something in the corner of his eye caught his attention. Something like a human foot. He kicked his feet quickly, propelling himself as he thought I've got you now! He grabbed for the foot and then the man turned around. Quickly, Kisame swung his huge sword and off went his head. The decapitated spy sank into the dark nothing of the water, along with all the secrets the ninja had learned about the Akasuki. Still, Kisame felt unpleased.
It was an easy kill of course, since they were in the water it gave him a huge advantage. He thought to himself that the ninja should have known this fact but still took the chance, hoping the stormy ocean would deter his pursuer. It had not affected Kisame at all. The water tide whammed against his side as he dove deeper again, closer to the ocean floor where the water was calmer. He swam around until he suddenly found two large light blue orbs with magic seals on them that gave off a serene glow.
The glow and the mysterious two spheres were calming even with a raging storm above and Kisame's curiosity grew. He swam closer. What he saw inside the two circles surprised him the most. He saw two naked girls in each of the two circles. They were in a crouching position with their feet in front of their chest and arms around their bodies, cradling something in their arms each. They both held what seemed like half of a transparent gemstone. Both of the girls had very long hair, the color tinted by the blue glow. Since they were crouching, Kisame couldn't see their faces but he guessed they were sisters. Abruptly, focusing on the two blue spheres now instead of what is inside of them, he noticed the seals. The seals seem old and must have decayed from the salt in the sea. Kisame out of curiosity tore at the seals thinking "What the hell! Let's just see what happens!" As soon as he ripped the seals, the glow of the circles was lost and the ocean began to violently turn.
Kisame cursed. It was getting harder and harder for him to see and swim, even though he was half shark. The ocean currents crashed harder and the girls were now released from the circles and drifted on the waves of the storm. Kisame reached and tried to grab both their arms. When he felt both his hands fill up with something, he swam madly towards the surface. Hoping both the girls were still alive and breathing, he pulled both his hands up. However, to his dismay, he had grabbed the same girl but both her hands.
"The other one!" said Kisame but the storm was getting harder and harder and he was afraid that if he went back to get the other girl, he would not be able to reach the shore with the two dead weights. He swam madly for the shore with one of the unconscious girls tightly in one arm as he lectured himself. Furious on how he could let the ocean suddenly dull his senses, deceiving him to think he had saved both the girls.
Furious on how his curiosity drove him to protect.
