Oh, why had she agreed? Her close friend Kage had told her to take a vacation and she had grudgingly agreed. However, she had forgotten to go to the PC, so her only companion was her Gengar, Horror.
Speaking of who, where was he?
The purple-haired ghost trainer glanced around for her beloved partner, but for once, he was'nt there.
"Horror? HORROR?" she started to shout. Panicing, she raced through the hallways, before crashing into a certain ghost type.
"M-master! Are you okay?"
"Ugh...Horror...where were you?"
The ghost fidgeted slightly before blushing and handing her a slightly wilted rose.
"Where did you get that?"
"T-the garden out back..." Horror blushed even more, dropping his gaze. Rei smiled and wrapped her pokemon in a hug. She felt her pokemon tense up, then relax comepletley and wrapped his short arms around her waist.
"Rei? I have to tell you something..."
"Yes Horror?" Rei leaned back and stared intently at her partner. He seemed to become even more nervous under her gaze, but finally blurted out:
"I LOVE YOU!" After this rather loud outburst, he covered his mouth and went entirely red. He buried his face in his hands and let out a small sob. Rei, though a little shocked, smiled and picked him up, placing him in her lap.
"I...I love you too," Rei stuttered, then hugged him and stood up.
"Let's go back to our room. It's getting late, you need to get sleep more often."
Horror wiped the tears from his face and took his trainer's hand. "Rei?"
"Yes?"
"Can I just do...one thing?"
"Um, sure, but wh-" Rei was cut off by her gengar pressing his mouth against hers. After a few moments, they broke apart, gasping and blushing. Horror looked down, suddenly shy again. Rei just stood like a statue, a very confused,blushing, Just-kissed-by-a-ghost statue. Then she shook her head and smiled again, this time wider. "Let's go to bed." Horror, for once, smiled back bigger than he ever had.

"So, Kage, how was your week while I've been gone?"
"Stress-free. But I missed you. You seem...different. All happy. Did something happen?"
Rei grinned and looked down at her gengar, who smiled back.
"You could say that."
