Aoko stared at her best friend, as he stared blankly ahead. Her own tears form. Uncle Tochi was Kaito-chan's hero and was super important to both of them. Just the thought that Uncle Tochi will never come home was hurting her. She could just tell that the pain was killing Kaito.
"I wanna be alone," Kaito whispered broken. Aoko grabbed onto his hand. He stared at her, his poker face slipping.
"I'm never gonna to leave you alone. You are stuck with me."
His poker face shattered.
Aoko stared at her best friend, as he stared blankly ahead. Her own tears form. The white top hate was still laying between them, while Kaito clenched the monocle in his right hand.
Hakuba was right. Kaito was KID. Yet, she knew there had to be a reason. He wouldn't do this unless the task was important. She knew that Kaito thought of her and her dad as family and wouldn't hurt them unless he had to.
"Tell me why in one sentence," she demanded. Kaito's poker face starting to slip.
"They killed my dad," he whispered. Aoko's hand grip on the mop loosen. She didn't know who 'they' were but there was only one thing she could do.
"Baka! You have told me when you found out."
"This is something I have to do alone," he whispered.
"I already told you that I'm never gonna to leave you alone. I will always help you no matter what."
His poker face shattered.
