Two Hunters, One Love

Chapter One: Beginnings and Introductory killings
"Damn! There are too many of them! I'm almost out of bullets, my Bloodwing is exhausted, and my sword got flung twenty feet away. What else could go wrong!" complains Mordecai, a hunter of the vault on Pandora. He hears pounding footsteps approaching along with the 'Ch-chunk' of a large machine gun being cocked. He looks up and upon seeing a Badass Bruiser thinks to himself "Shit, not only do I die on a planet of dust, I die on a planet of dust ALONE!"
He suddenly sees a shimmer in the air, at first thinking it was his imagination, then realizing that it was no trick of the mind at all. It was a siren. He reallizes this just as she apears behind the bruiser and shoots him thirty times with an SMG with a fire enhancement. As the bruiser falls dead at her feet, she dispels her supernatural invisibility. As Mordecai sat stunned (not yet fully realizing that he wasn't shot full of holes) the siren walked over to where his sword lay, picked it up, and walked back towards Mordecai. When she got close, she raised the sword as if to strike him down. 'Well, at least I'll die by the hands of a beautiful woman.' He thought. As she slashes at him, he closed his eyes, waiting for the end to come.
