Remember
I remember the sound of your laugh
It made me feel alive
I remember your hair
And how I always wanted to run my fingers through it
I remember your eyes
I could have drown in the emotion displayed
I remember your smile
Especially when it reached your eyes, they sparkled
I remember the way way you talked
How much conviction you managed to pack into your words I will never know
I remember your hands
And how they fingered the pages in the books you read
Wishing they would do that in my hair
I remember when you put up with me, broody and all
I remember how beautiful you are
Every detail, clear as day
I remember the day where I almost lost you
Seeing you so lifeless on the floor.
I would have killed Voldemort a thousand times over, just to get you back
I remember when I first saw your scar, which matched mine.
Now swimming is one of my favourite sports
I remember when you stood by my side at the very end
And you took my hand, as I said the words which would finish what started so long ago
Now thanks to you I can move on and live my life the way I want to, with you by my side.
