Iceland lay curled up in the bed, breathing fairly rapidly. His striking violet eyes were now dim and wet, and his snowy complexion was somehow even paler. Hong Kong draped a blanket over the silver-haired boy with a tiny smile on his face, but with worry in his eyes. At this, Iceland's eyes fluttered open and the corners of his mouth just barely turned upwards. "Thanks, but you don't need to worry about me," his voice rasped slightly. The dark-haired boy pursed his lips and furrowed his thick brows.

"The thing is, though, I kinda do." Iceland chuckled lightly. Hong Kong knelt down beside the bed so that he was level with his partner and looked at him concernedly. "Do…do you want a compress or something?" he asked, brushing the hair away from Iceland's damp forehead. The other boy shook his head softly.

"No, that's alright." His eyelids drifted down and his breathing slowly evened out as he fell asleep. Hong Kong stared at him fondly for a moment, taking in all the lovely little details in Iceland's face. His smooth, cream-colored cheeks, small pointed nose, and his silvery eyelashes. Carefully, Hong Kong climbed around to the other side of the bed, curled up next to Iceland, and gently reached one arm over and wrapped it around his waist. Iceland, who had been asleep, felt the touch of his hand and slowly opened his eyes, noticing the arm that was now resting protectively atop his stomach. "Hey," he whispered. The other boy's eyes widened with surprise.

"I thought you were asleep," he said, heat quickly rushing to his cheeks.

"Heh, yeah I was."

"Er, you don't mind me lying down with you, do you?" Iceland pulled the arm draped over him closer to his chest.

"No, it's okay." Hong Kong smiled, a little relieved. He ran his fingers gently through Iceland's silver hair, lifting it every now and then to expose the nape of his neck and brush tiny kisses against his skin. Iceland blushed a little, shyly enjoying the sensation of Hong Kong's lips on his neck. He closed his eyes, somewhat surprised at their weight, and attempted to fall asleep. I guess being sick isn't so bad, he thought. At least, not when you have someone to take care of you.
