I hope you guys enjoy this story. I don't own Naruto or the song. Its the song from A Muppets Christmas Carol. So I don't own the song as well.
By the way Italic are Hinata singing to Naruto.
Naruto was waiting for Hinata on a bridge. Hinata had asked him to meet her here. Naruto knew that the past couple of months was hard for the two couple, but he believe everything will be prefect when he became Hokage of the village.
Naruto looked around and noticed Hinata walking towards him. He smiled and waved at her, who noticed him, and frowned. Naruto saw this frowned as well.
As Hinata walked up to him, she smiled sadly. "Thanks for meeting me here, Naruto."
"Hinata, is everything alright?" asked Naruto. He took her hand into his.
Hinata shook her head and pulled her hand away from Naruto. "Naruto, its been two years since you asked me to marry you." She walked past him. Naruto turned around to face her.
"Look, I know its been two years, Hinata. But I promise that as soon as I become Hokage, will get married."
Naruto tried to smile but Hinata faced him and shook her head.
"Naruto, I don't think this is working out for us. I mean I'm just getting in your way of becoming Hokage. I think its time."
She looked up at him and had tears running down her face.

Naruto walked towards her and put his hands on her shoulders.

Hinata moved away from him. Making Naruto's hand fall to his sides.

Hinata faced Naruto and smiled sadly. She put a hand on his cheek. Naruto lean into her hand.
Naruto's eyes started to water, knowing what Hinata was singing and doing.

Naruto started to follow but stop, and looked down.

Naruto froze and wiped the tears from his eyes. "Goodbye, Hinata." whispered Naruto
