hey... this came to my mind while reading other stories here... in the end it's not quite what I wanted it to be... hope you enjoy it nevertheless!
The Call
„Stokes! "
„Hey, it's me Sara. "
„Hey… how are you? "
"Well, I'm tired. I want to tell you that I am at the airport now… I think I'll be back at the late afternoon."
"Great. I'll pick you up."
"Good. Hey Nicky… I really missed you these five days!"
"I missed you, too… honey I have to admit something…"
"What is it, Stokes?"
"Well I slept with two beautiful young ladies last night… I thought you have to know it…"
"Hmm…you did didn't you. At least I hope you went to bed at a decent time!"
"Yes that we did… right after supper!"
"Com'on Nicky, you can admit that this isn't true!"
"Hey, I'm not that bad you know… I'm quite perfect at this."
"If you would be perfect my job as their mother would be much easier. They have twist you around their little finger!"
"Well, what can I say… I'm a real ladies man… besides I can't resist my three girls – you know that!
"Yeah, that's true. By the way where are they now?"
"Noreen has this excursion with the elementary school today and I'm going to pick up Sadie from nursery school in 20minutes… they really missed you!"
"I missed them, too. Kind of hard to be in this hotel room on my own, when I am used to have you three guys around me all the time."
"That bad?"
"Worse! I am so happy that I'll be back tonight!"
"Me too. Besides I think it was the last time Grissom sends you to one of these conferences. He was shocked after your appearance in his office."
"Hey, that happened when he does those surprising last-minute things with me – I am not the old Sara Sidle anymore whose only thing in life is work!"
"I know… I am happy about the new Sara!"
"Well that's all because of you Mr. Stokes."
"Gee, thanks! Honey, I gotta go… Sadie waits!"
"Okay. I love you Mr. Stokes! See you tonight and give them a kiss from me!"
"I love you too Mrs. Stokes. I will. We pick you up at the airport later. Have a save flight!"
"Bye."
"Bye!"
