Her
By Kenny-sama
Maybe you think you're alone.
Maybe you think that you're the only one who's sad.
Maybe you think you're the only one unloved.
Maybe, just maybe, you're wrong.
--------
You would gaze at him, Uzumaki Naruto, as he would stare at them.
He, Uzumaki Naruto, would stare at them; she, being Haruno Sakura, with the greenest, most beautiful eyes, and him, being Uchiha Sasuke, with those cold, onyx ones.
You would stare at them, as she wraps a bandage on his arm and scolds him on how he should be more careful. He would glower and tell her how annoying she is, and she would just smile; A simple, nonchalant smile. His cold eyes would glint so suddenly that you would not even notice it. But his eyes glinted as she smiled. And you could see from the smile on her face and the glint from his cold, onyx eyes that behind all that, behind the hurt, the pain, the tears, the joy, the ache, and all, all had they have been through, that there is love; Pure, unselfish, untainted, love.
And then at the corner, there was him, Uzumaki Naruto, staring at them.
You could see that his brows would furrow as his azure eyes would show that they were filled with pain and yet at the same time, he still wore a large smile; a loving, selfless smile. He was smiling, smiling for them.
He was happy because they were happy. He was happy for her. He was happy that she got her happiness.
But albeit all of which has happened, that happiness, was not because of him. Because he was Uzumaki Naruto, and never, never will it come a time that he would own such cold, stern eyes. Never will it come a time that she, she with the greenest, most beautiful eyes, would smile that smile, because that smile was not reserved for him, Uzumaki Naruto.
No matter how much he tries, no matter how much he forces himself to smile as they would show their affection by how she smiles and how his cold, calculating eyes would suddenly glint (even if it was for a fracture of a second), he still knows that deep down inside, that it hurts. That it hurts to be the only one alone, sad, and unloved.
What he does not know though, that he is not the only one alone. And that he is not the only one sad and unloved. What he does not know, is you.
You would just stare there as his back turns against you and he walks away. And the girl with the greenest, most beautiful eyes and the boy with those stern, black ones would walk away too, the girl with a smile on her face and the boy with the sudden glint on his eyes.
And then they were gone.
-----
There is a small frown on your features as you stare at their backs.
He will never know that he is not the only one alone, sad, and unloved. And you wonder when he will ever will.
But maybe, just maybe, he would.
FIN.
A/N: I know, I know, it's kind of confusing since I used al lot of him, her, he, she, they, them, quite a lot of times. Please forgive me though, I'm just a newbie here so please be, uhmm, gentle?
