You are my Sheppard
When we leave your flock we are empty and sad.
We are lonely and scared. We only know grief, fear, hate and hungry.
But when all fate is lost for us you come and find us in the darkness.
You blind us with your light, and fill our hearts with love and happiness.
We turned our backs on you but you never stop carrying about your lost sheep.
We cursed you and all you can say is "I will always be with you."
Sometimes we wish death, but you give us a reason to live.
You keep us away from evil
Keep us away from pain
Keep us away from devil
Oh Jesus, you are our Sheppard and I know you will never leave us.
