Draco stared at the blank parchment in front of him. He sighed once again. He had two essays to write for tomorrow. One for McGonagall and the other for Binns.
He was struggling to stay focused. A bunch of first years were chatting and it was getting on Draco's nerves. It was distracting him.
-"You've got nothing else to do ?"
They almost ran away. He may have sounded drier than he thought. Anyway, now he could work in peace. So human transfiguration. What could he write about that ? He sighed. He looked by the window. All of a sudden, he found the depths of the lake very interesting.
The common room was way too distracting. He got up and took all of his stuff. He was heading to the library. There'll be less people and perhaps he'll find books that could help him with his essays.
When he entered the library, he saw her sleeping her cheek against the table. He sat next to her.
Again, he was in front of his blank parchment, a quill in his hand. She was still sleeping but she was distracting. Her breathing, the few strands of her hair falling in her face, her hands.
There was a long parchment under her right hand. It was her essay about Grindelwald. Maybe if he read it, he would get some ideas for his essay. He tried to slowly move her hand to take it.
-"What are you doing ?"
-"Sleeping in the library. You're that tired ?"
-"You didn't answered my question." she said. "And it's kind of your fault if I'm that tired."
-"Like you didn't enjoy it last night."
-"Still didn't answered my question." she said yawning.
-"Admiring your beauty."
-"Nice try. What were you doing ?"
-"I don't have time to play with you. I've got homework to do."
-"So that's what you were trying to do. Steal my essay for Professor Binns."
-"No, no, no. Not steal, just getting some ideas."
-"Stop procrastinating and get ideas on your own."
-"And what if you give me your essay, then help me with transfiguration."
-"And why would I do that ?"
-"Come on, Hermione."
He kissed her. She responded to the kiss and he left her lips to kiss her neck.
-"It won't make me do your essays, you know." she said smiling.
-"Then what will ?"
-"Nothing will, Malfoy."
He sighed and got up.
-"Fine then I'm going to go find a book on human transfiguration and one on Grindelwald."
-"For Grindelwald, you can take this book. I don't need it anymore." said Hermione. "I'm going back to the Gryffindor common room. See you later."
She stood up and was going to take her parchment and her quill but her essay was missing. Draco was already running out of the library.
-"I'm going to kill him one day." she mumbled.
She started following him. She chased him in the third floor corridor then he took some stairs. For a moment, she thought she had lost him. She went higher and she saw him entering the fifth floor corridor.
-"Got you !"
-"Not yet !" he said laughing.
They kept running and went higher and higher. They went all the way up to the astronomy tower. They were out of breath.
-"Giving up, Granger ?" he asked grinning.
-"I'm not giving up, you're giving up ! Now give me back my essay."
-"Fine."
He handed her the parchment.
-"It's too easy." she said.
-"No, it's not. I'm tired of running so I'll do my essay all by myself. See you tonight."
She was confused. He kissed her then went down to the Slytherin common room. He was so lucky that Hermione had lost him for a while. He had the time to hide in the storage room to duplicate her essay. Now he'll just have to ask Blaise if he could borrow his transfiguration essay. Draco really hated homework.
