Prologue
I always thought I did not have a father. My mama told my younger brother, Sota and I that he died in a car crash when I was 6, Sota wasn't born until after a year. And now I am 16 and I still do not know what he looks like. You might think I would because of pictures and stuff like that, but oddly enough there weren't any pictures, nothing to tell you that he even existed.
I tried asking mama more about dad, but she would just shift uncomfortably and change the subject. I tried asking my grandfather as well, but I had gotten the same response. They thought me archery, swordsmen ship, and almost every thing in martial arts, that there is to know. I always thought they brought me to those so I could be distracted from my father. But how wrong I was.
One day I was looking out the window from my bedroom when a suspicious looking man in black came up to my door step. 'Just my luck' I thought. 'That guy just that to choose this day out of all the others' I was alone in the house. My grandfather when away to visit his friend, while mama and Sota when to the beach. I would have had gone, but I did not feel like it.
I heard a doorbell and went to open the door. "Are you Higurashi Kagome?" the man In black asked "Yes I am." I invited him in the house. "I am here to tell you that your father died on a mission working for the CIA." " How can that be, my father died in a car crash when I was 6! " My mind was racing. " Kagome, your father and mother are double agents working for the CIA. "
I couldn't believe what he was saying. My dad, was ALIVE, well when I was over the age of six and mama never told me! This was just to confusing.
"Ms. Higurashi, I hope that you are aware that you must take your father's place in the CIA." I tried to say I wasn't but my mouth wasn't working with me. "Kagome, I know that you think that your not ready yet, but you are. See you as well as I know that you know how to fight, heck even kill someone, after all you were training since you were only a child. And that is very hard to find." "But, I always thought that it was to distract me from my father. And why did my mama tell me that papa was dead. And you said that she was in the CIA as well......care to explain?" I asked TOTALLY confused. I mean its awesome that my parents are spies, but that's just like from the books and movies, and that American show ALIAS. Heck I don't even know if he's telling the truth, he could be after my money for all I know.
