Father Time
Prologue
The Greek god Chronos is said to be the personification of time. I did not know this.
You might think it strange that I dwell on this fact, and I assure you, I do too. It bothers me, that in all my years, I have missed so simple a fact.
Strangely, what troubles me more is the one I heard it from.
I have a patient – his name is Axel. A quiet boy, when he wants to be, with a complete disregard for rules and such.
On the following pages is my account of our sessions. Deduct from it what you will, as I have tried numerous times to do.
Being a psychiatrist, I have trained myself to remain unbiased, and detached from my patients, but I am starting to believe that the human in me is crying out for attention. Perhaps.
Or perhaps it is something else.
