The sun rose, giving light to the whole room. It was a peaceful wake, and I felt good. One yawn, stretch and change, coralline was up and running. Literally. Coraline had taken these morning jogs with her mother ever since the school year ended. Well, ever since her size 1 jeans didn't fit. "hurry up" her mother called

"No, u slow down Please!" coralline said through pants, trying to catch her breath as much as she could. Her mother slowed down to Coralines pace. The bond between them had gotten better over the past few years. Coraline was now a teen and she changed, and saw her mother's views (sometimes).

"Jeeze, Coraline, you're out of shape"

"Ya think?" she said with a small chuckle

Things changed over those years, growing up. Ever since Wybie was…. . left, things had gotten better. Coraline explained it as merely out of sight out of mind. She was shocked with the lack of emotion she had. Even through the investigation with his disappearance, and his grams heartbroken death as well.

But, Coraline was at peace, the other mother kept her promise and left her alone. When the investigation was over, her mother had put knew wall paper over the little door you could hardly see it. She once asked her mother why she did it, it was like she knew what happened. Like she knew what happened. Like what she had begged her mother and father to believe finally got through to them. Maybe so.
