The only time the two of them saw each other was those times when they were seeing their children off to Hogwarts on that famous scarlet train. Platform nine and three quarters. The train covered the families, what was left of the families, with steam as it pulled out of the station. With final waves and shouting good byes the children began their journey. Slowly, the parents left, like water dripping from a tap. That was when they glanced each other. Warm green met cold gray. Connecting them.
They had both changed. He still had that piercing silver glare with his perfect complexion and his white blonde hair framing his face. He had become broader but less dark. On the opposite end on the connection, he had also changed. He still had those green eyes from his mother that soothed, with wiry glasses that blocked them out. His hair was still black as night and an unstoppable mess. He had grown that tiny bit more but he was still at least two inches smaller than the other. Neither smiled nor mouthed a word, it didn't need saying. But both were thinking the same thing. As always the scarlet train brought back memories, memories of their school life, good and bad, clouding thoughts.
Through that connection the words echoed. What if they had defied tradition, ignored prejudice and broke the laws of war, where both sides, bad and good, were to never entwine. Never be friends. Never be lovers. But despite the war, they never fought each other for the good of the wizarding world, so maybe it was a petty high school rival after all. As quick as they had connected, they both looked away. Draco to his blonde wife, Astoria Malfoy who had put a hand on his shoulder and Harry to his red headed wife, Ginny Potter. Harry loved Ginny, she was everything to him, but love can be held in a person's heart for more than one person. He glanced back to where the Malfoy's had been stood. They were gone.
A/N: i know its spelt grey, but gray is how you spell it when its the colour of eyes, like with the colour for horses. I'm pretty sure it is anyway :D This is a one-shot by the way and tell me what you think please. Review! :D:D
