In which a newlywed Bigby and Snow move into thier new apartment.

"Are you ready to step foot into our new home, Mrs Wolf?" Bigby asked, loving the way 'Mrs Wolf' sounded coming from his lips, he wrapped his arms around his new wife and kissing her head gently.

He didn't look like the gentle type, what with his longer and often unkept hair, his creased shirts that no matter how many hours Snow slaved over the ironing board still ended up creased and wrinkled by the time her husband got home from work. But he was always gentle with her, she was a lot smaller than him in every sense of the word, it was like he had to be careful around her as if he could break her with just a little too much pressure.

Snow's hair was brought up in a high bun, typical house wife style, held back by clips and a headband. In her hands she held their last box, full of family photos and photos from their recent wedding.

And of course, as soon as she thought about about the wedding her eyes darted down to her ring finger. Her pearl engagement ring stood out from all the others in the jewellery store, Rose, Snow's sister, said she had never seen Bigby as stressed as he was hunched over a glass counter, demanding to see ring after ring, failing to find the perfect one for his love.

Bigby looked at her, his own expression one of confusion, snow was expressionless, as she so often was whenever she was lost in thought. He could never read her or get a clear understanding of what she was thinking when she zoned out like this.

"Snow?" He murmured, covering her hand with both of his. "Are you ready?"

Her snap back to reality was instant, She guessed 'out of sight, out of mind' held some truth in it after all, for when Bigby covered her ring, all she could concentrate on was the door that lay before them.

"First day of the rest of our lives, isn't that how the saying goes?" She grinned up at her husband. "And how lucky I am to be spending it with you."

She couldn't help herself, she always had to be touching him, being beside him wasn't enough, she had noticed this early on in their relationship, she needed him and he needed her. So she leaned up on her tip toes and pressed a kiss to his jaw.

"Unlock the door Bigby." She purred in his ear.

And he needn't be told twice he unlocked the door and scooped her up into his arms, much to her delight.

He just hoped his attempt at closing the door with a kick was successful.

Wouldn't want to send the wrong message to their neighbours.
