"Hey bitches get out here!"
Collins voice rang through the loft as Roger and Mark poked their heads out of their respective rooms. Mark looked as if he had just been woken from a nap, hair sticking out everywhere and his glasses slightly askew. Roger just looked a little peeved at being interrupted from doing whatever it was he had been up to.
"Hey Collins," Mark greeted with a sleepy smile. "What's up?"
Roger merely scowled.
"You guy still have that TV and stuff you borrowed from Joanne?" he questioned as he began to pick through the piles of junk that scattered the loft. "We need to watch something."
Roger slipped back into his room, returning a few minutes later with an old TV set and a beat up looking DVD player. "This better be good," he grumbled, although the way Collins darted around getting everything set up, he was pretty sure he wouldn't be disappointed.
Mark came to sit on the corner of the couch, giving Roger a curious look as he sat beside him. "You got any idea?"
"Nope but what's the worst it can be? If nothing else I bet it's damned funny." Roger scooted over as Collins plopped down on his other side, leaning on Mark who had already been using his shoulder as a pillow. "So," he said, wrapping one arm around the drowsy filmmaker and raising an eyebrow at Collins. "Gonna tell us what we're about to watch."
"You really wanna know?" The other replied, "Or do I get to leave the element of surprise in?"
Roger scowled a little, "Just tell us."
"Fine fine. So, I was heading over to see Benny the other night and passed by this video store. The new releases were in the window and I took a look to see what shit they were pumping out now." Mark grinned a little at that. "Well there was this one really bright cover and when I look closer..." he pulled out a box from his coat pocket. "Take a look."
The other two blinked a few times before Roger finally said something. "...Okay what the fuck?" He looked down at Mark. "You have anything to do with this?"
He shook his head. "I...I didn't do anything." Reaching out he took the box from Roger, turning it over and reading the back. "...Put it in." He finally ordered, handing it back to the anarchist. "Let's watch it."
"My thoughts exactly!" Collins leaned forward and stuck the DVD in, sitting back with the other two once more and watching the screen.
Almost two and a half hours later, as the credits flashed by, Mark, Roger and Collins were staring blankly at the screen. "Well," Mark said, trying to break the silence. "That was definitely..."
"Weird." Roger finished for him.
"Really weird," Collins added, as he fingered the box.
"Fucki--Oh no, nevermind." The other two snickered.
It was then that Joanne and Maureen strolled in, the former raising an eyebrow at the sight of her old TV and DVD player. "You two still have this stuff?" She asked with an amused tone. "I would've thought it got sucked into the abyss by now."
"Nope," Mark said proudly. "Roger kept it...where DID you keep it?"
"It doesn't matter," he stated while scooting over more, squashing Mark into the arm of the couch. "Sit down girls, we were just about to watch a movie..."
