Chapter I
The Rebellion of evil
Alex's POV
I had just woken up in cold sweat I had the same dream again only this time it was cut short. I decided to get some fresh air after all what use is land if you don't go on it. Cold night air always calmed me I cant help but feel sometimes that I had lived here before I was born…but it is all nonsense. I live in the kingdom of Hurgria it is a great kingdom considering the fact that our king is a man of pure justice. I sat on a pumpkin as I stared at the moon when I saw a small bit of light flash at the front of our tiny outskirt home. I decided to lay low and see what was going on. I saw a man with a sword that's blade was pure red from the red rock that was forged into it. I saw his partner enter the house and he was armed with a longbow! I saw him take aim for my baby brother I followed my instincts as I stealthily grabbed my sword from my bed. I grabbed my fathers throwing knife and threw it at the archer. The archer grabbed the hilt as it was just 1 meter from his skull. This was unbelievable its like he had eyes on the back of his head! I tried to throw another but as soon as my arm reached high it was grabbed by the swordsman and this wasn't a peaceful grab his gauntlets had dagger like points that pierced my right arm. I shrieked in pain as he raised his sword to kill me. I ducked in between his legs and I punched his face as soon as he turned to look at me. I reached fir my sword and quickly blocked his slash. He nodded to his partner and his partner did something I would never forgive for: He released an arrow on my baby brother I heard the archer laugh as he move to my cousins room. I knew what he would do and I needed to alert my parents. I saw a small horn on the table but I needed a distraction so I twisted the mans arm and he was aon the floor as I grabbed the horn and blew as loud as I could. I heard my dad surge out of bed as he went to my cousins room I looked and saw a blade coming at my face. I was lucky enough to maneuver so that he only cut a long streak down my right eye. I was blinded in my right eye therefore I was at another disadvantage I heard a scream of a grown man and a yell for help I tried to move but the swordsman had me pinned down. I saw the archer nod his head the swordsman then spoke his first words "Boy I know that your that creep who lives in the woods trying to help your food suppliers but this is the end for them Ill let you live in your disgusting log for now hahaha!"
I couldn't believe my luck he thought I wasn't part of my family which whom I needed to save. I ran to my baby brother but it was far past too late, I then ran to where the most sorrow struck my heart. My cousin, dad, and mom all laid in the same room. I ran to my mother as she opened her eyes she said "Alex please leave at once it is dangerous here please ….stop….the…rebellion's…." she faded away I knew what this meant, it meant the infamous Rebellion was behind all this I decided I would become a knight to his majesty and appeal to help in the end of the Rebellion. I made a vow that night when I was on that floor, I would kill my family's murderers.
