Naruto's Birthday

Startled cerulean blue eyes opened in shock, before blinking a couple of times. Naruto slowly raised to a sitting position on his bed, trying to remember why he suddenly awoken. Rubbing the back of his head, he finally gave up, and headed towards the bathroom. While on his way he glanced at the calendar and saw that today was October 10th.
"Today's my birthday!" Naruto shouted, he then hurried to shower and get dressed to go celebrate his birthday. After closing and locking his door he realized how hunger he was and headed to Ichiraku Ramen.
Naruto stood in front of Ichraku with his mouth agape. All he could do was stare in terror. Ichiraku was closed.
"Closed, how can it be closed!" He shrieked out.
Suddenly out of nowhere a hand griped Naruto's shoulder, and he jumped and very nearly let out a scream, but he caught himself.
An amused Sasuke Uchiha was looking at him with a look in his eyes that told Naruto that he knew he had caught him off guard.
"S-sauske, what was that for!?"
"Hn, I stood there for about a minute waiting for you to notice me. I finally tapped you on the shoulder when people started to stare.
"I'm surprised you even bothered." Naruto mumbled.
