INU-YASHA

The stars shined over passing travelers, giving them the peace and calmness of a day's hard work, but of course this did not apply to two people, who well, really never stopped they're day job-bickering.

"I can't believe you just said that?!" snapped Kagome at Inu-yasha.

"Oh, really? Well I can say it again you stupid girl" replied Inu-yasha glaring at her now.

A smile formed on the girl's face, while Inu-yasha's eyes went wide.

"Oh sh-"

"SIT!"

Inu-yasha landed flat on the ground and Kagome walked on top of me, smiling to her self.

"There isn't going to be a arguments you will win, so just give up and say yes and whatever to me," said Kagome and kept on walking.

"If it wasn't for this necklace, she would be in pieces by now," grumbled Inu-yasha.

"Let's go Inu-yasha! I sense a jewel shard nearby!" said Kagome.

Inu-yasha grinned as he withdrew the Tetsusaiga, "Finally something good."

**

Inu-yasha dodged the fire-demon by only a few cementers, and jumped back up and slashed in right in the middle.

"Any body else want a piece of me?" asked Inu-yasha with the Tetsusaiga firmly gripped in his hands.

Kagome started to look in the corpse of the fire-demon, and quickly found the jewel shard fragment.

"I got it!" said Kagome and ran over to Inu-yasha who was still glancing around for any more demons.

"COME ON! I'M BORED HERE!" shouted Inu-yasha ignoring Kagome speaking to him.

Kagome frowned and placed her hands on her hips, "SIT BOY!"

With the sudden surprise fall, Inu-yasha let out a little bark, and landed hard on the ground.

"Maybe that'll teach you to listen for once!" said Kagome.

Inu-yasha picked himself up, "Is this your favorite thing to do?! Oh let's see what's my schedule for the week-break Inu-yasha's back!" said Inu-yasha mocking Kagome.

"SIT BOY!" said Kagome and walked away.

Inu-yasha groaned, maybe he should do what she says-which is never going to happen in a million years- so he quickly followed Kagome.

**

In a cave, Kikyo watched Inu-yasha from afar, her spirits floated around her, dropping souls at her feet.

"We shall meet again Kagome, and Inu-yasha will be mine," said Kikyo.

"Kikyo, glad you are well."

Kikyo turned around to see someone, a person hidden in shadows, but she knew who it was.

"Eleanor," said Kikyo.

Eleanor stepped out of the shadows, we see two cat-like ears on her, and she grins at Kikyo and glances out of the cave opening to see what she sees.

"You have a job right? Half-Demon I smell and another odor just like yours," said Eleanor then added, "So that is your other self? Reborn? Interesting. So what is the job?"

"Just a small thing, that I know you can do. Just get Inu-yasha away from that girl for awhile," said Kikyo, "I know your shape-shifting will do the job."

Eleanor half-smiled, "Half of what I am-I'll shape-shift into that girl- draw him out-and bam! Hit him over the head, and of course be very careful about that too-(tries to act sweet) I'll do the job, and sides, it might be fun." She grinned and bowed to Kikyo, "I won't let you down." The girl disappeared into the ground, leaving no trace of her being there.

Kikyo smiled, "You'll be with me soon Inu-yasha."

"How many shards do we have?" asked Inu-yasha to Kagome who was setting a fire.

"About three is all-"

"THREE?! WHAT?! I THOUGHT WE HAD MORE THAN TH-"

"-no make that 4," said Kagome smiling to her self.

"You think you're so funny right?" asked Inu-yasha.

"Yup," said Kagome and got the fire started, and placed her hands there to warm up.
