Why?
Why do you smile when you see me?
As I slash out like the might of a sea,
Ice, winter, Snow is what I posses,
For they've always called me "The Ice Princess."
Why do your eyes twinkle when I'm angry?
Like a child getting his very first candy,
Your dark orbs filled with…love?
I'm suddenly flying high and above.
Why do you laugh when you see me smile?
When I think of myself as cold and vile,
You don't need me; I'm just ice,
Evil, cruel, severe, and anything but nice.
Why do you sadden when I'm alone?
Like a necklace loosing its gemstone,
For two to be separate is wrong,
Like a candle without fire; like no words in a song.
